[Re]newal – Profound Cycles: Harmony’s Newest Public Art Piece.
Redefining how a successful placemaking can yield incredible community defining features.
The Opportunity
For phase 2 of the Harmony Community, Heavy partnered with the Bordeaux development team to fulfill their vision for their next iconic public artwork by connecting them with the talents of emerging creatives.
The Approach
Knowing that one of Harmony’s key pillars is to embrace art in all of its forms, Heavy defined a unique approach to explore new ideas for art by connecting with emerging designers and artists to make it come to life.
Heavy ultimately collaborated with local designer Gordon Skilling and the Harmony team to develop the concept to match the vision, cost, schedule and thematic requirements of the project. Heavy moved the concept forward from idea through to a detailed plan with cost and schedule certainty, while also maintaining the intent and vision of the work.
